My goal is to inspire you to travel. Tourism—though it admittedly has some drawbacks—is the most powerful force for conserving wild places and antiquities.
Nature and seascapes are my favorites but anything outdoors will do. When photographing wildlife, I prefer environmental portraits to show the animal’s habitat. Exploring European cities is a great way to find interesting architectural compositions.
Raised in New Jersey where my father and uncle taught me basic photography. After graduating from Rutgers University, I lived in Alaska, Japan and seasonally in Costa Rica. US Army Veteran: Airborne, Air Assault and Arctic. Spurs earned at 57F degrees below zero.
